A body has been found during the search for a missing fisherman off the Galway coast.
The man was reported missing on Wednesday night when he did not return.
An unmanned boat was located overnight and was towed back to Galway by the Aran Island Lifeboat.
The search in the area has now been stood down.
The body was located on the shore in Oranmore Bay, 5nm east from where a fishing vessel was discovered.
The search which was coordinated by Valentia Rescue Centre working with local gardaí.
It also involved Coast Guard Unit from Costello Bay, RNLI Lifeboat crews from Galway and Aran Island amd Coast Guard Rescue Helicopters based in Shannon and Sligo.
