Former teen star Corey Feldman says he plans to reveal a Hollywood "paedophile ring" which he could "potentially bring down."
The 46-year-old actor and musician has started a crowdfunding campaign to produce, direct and distribute a documentary which he says "will be the most honest and true depiction of child abuse ever portrayed."
Feldman, who started acting when he was three years old, has long claimed to have been the victim of sexual abuse at the hands of "very powerful Hollywood men."

The star, along with Corey Haim who died in 2010 after a long struggle with drugs, featured in films such as The Lost Boys, as well as TV show The Two Coreys.
Documentary
Feldman has never named his alleged abusers, but has now outlined "a plan to try and hopefully bring to light what is going on in the world of entertainment."
"Ever since I even told everybody I had this plan, my life has turned into utter chaos," he said in a video published on his Twitter page.
"I've been silenced my whole life but just over the past few days since I've made the announcement, I've been arrested, I had a near-death experience last night where I thought I was almost going to be killed - two trucks came speeding at me at the same time on a crosswalk.
"Then several of my band members have decided to quit because they were fearing for their lives.
"I'm very alone, but I need to protect myself and I need to protect myself and my family.
“I need additional security and I need a legal team to help represent me so I can fulfil this mission."
Crowdfunding
Feldman's TRUTH Campaign on website indiegogo has raised nearly $100,000, and has set the limit at $10m to produce the film.
Feldman said the money will be enough to cover the production and distribution of the film – but also to hire a legal team to protect him against possible lawsuits.
"Right off the bat I can name six names - one of them who is still very powerful today - in a story that links all the way up to a studio - that connects paedophilia to one of the major studios," he said.
"And I'm not alone.
"I know that there's thousands others who have experienced what I've experienced in the entertainment industry.
“I also know that there's peers of mine who know exactly what I'm talking about and know all the details but have been afraid to come forward with their own truths.
"I'm using this to draw a line in the sand, to say to the Hollywood community we are better than this."
Independent release
Feldman said the film will have “no studio behind it” – adding that he will direct, produce and self-distribute the film to guarantee that it gets a theatrical release.
The crowdfunding page calls for “the world to unite for a most important cause, to preserve the innocence of children.”
