It's being reported this evening that singer Ed Sheeran came to Galway to shoot his new music video in a pub in Salthill.
Crowds have gathered outside O'Connor's Bar to get a glimpse of Sheeran as he shoots the video for his next single Galway Girl.

Sheeran left Salthill at around 7pm, as he is scheduled to co-host The Eoghan McDermott Show on RTÉ 2fm this Thursday.
President Michael D Higgins was also spotted in Salthill - for a cameo, perhaps?

Sheeran has a deep affinity with County Galway, having previously busked on Shop Street a teenager.

His Irish mini-break will no doubt take Sheeran's mind off his recently settled copyright infringement lawsuit over his 2014 hit 'Photograph'.
British songwriters Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard had sued the 'Shape of You' star for $20 million, claiming that his track bore a striking resemblance to a single they wrote for former X Factor winner Matt Cardle.
The suit claimed that the melody for 'Amazing', which made it to number 84 on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, had been lifted "verbatim" for 'Photograph', a single taken from Sheeran's second album x in 2015.
