A male cyclist is in a critical condition after a collision in Dublin's Phoenix Park.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident that happened yesterday evening at around 8.40pm.
The male cyclist, aged in his 50s, was cycling on the upper part of Chesterfield Avenue - the city bound side between Áras an Uachtaráin and Castleknock Gate.
He was seriously injured when he was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
The cyclist was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he is described as being in a critical condition.
The male pedestrian aged in his 30s was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital with leg and back injuries.
