There seems to be no let up in sight of the cold and windy weather we are having - and it is set to get worse.
Met Éireann has issued five - yes five - separate weather warnings for different parts of the country.
There is an orange wind warning in place for Wexford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford.
Southerly winds of 65 to 80 km/h will also have gusts of 110 to 130 km/h on Wednesday afternoon and through the night. They are set to ease off later on Thursday morning.
While there is a status orange snow and ice warning for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Clare, Kerry and Limerick.
Wintry, thundery showers of hail, sleet and snow are forecast for today and overnight - with snow accumulations of up to 8cm. Met Éireann says the highest amounts will be on high ground in Connacht and west Ulster.
There is also a yellow wind warning for Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon and Tipperary.
Southerly winds with speeds of 50 to 65 km/h and gusts of up to 110 km/h are forecast here on Wednesday.
Heavy rainfall has resulted in a yellow warning then for Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
Met Éireann says heavy showers on Tuesday night will be followed by heavy rain on Wednesday afternoon and evening, with totals up to 35mm expected.
And finally there is also a yellow level snow and ice warning for Leinster, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford.
