An Garda Síochána’s twitter account continues to issue burns along with fines, as the following post goes to show.
A driver had taken it upon himself to alter his insurance disc, perhaps not showing the kind of counterfeiting skills needed to pull off the risky move. Pasting over the four in 2014 with a make-shift patch didn’t manage to pool the wool over the eyes of the boys and girls in blue, and saw the driver given a €600 fine and be disqualified from driving for a year.
And feeling the sting of a dressing down on Twitter.
