Luke Shaw insists he has no problem with Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal's comments about his fitness.

The United boss has put the England left-back on a special training programme to improve his condition and also openly stated that Shaw was "not very fit" after returning from his post-World Cup break.

Shaw told Sky Sports News the intensity of the work he has had to do since joining from Southampton this summer has taken him by surprise.
