If you listen to Newstalk Breakfast quite a bit, you may be aware that the team own, collectively, a greyhound who races quite a bit.

All of the team are quite fond of the dog. A lot more fond of the dog than Ivan Yates it turns out...

This morning, the presenter announced live on-air that he had sold the dog, much to the surprise of Chris Donoghue and pretty much everyone on the team.

Chris questioned: "you sold my dog?"

Ivan answered: "He's still called RazlDazl Newstalk... It's a long story. You needn't know the details but it's a happy news story for Ivan."

Chris: "How much did you sell my dog for?"

Ivan: "It's confidential. There's not going to be a commission of inquiry into this."
