GAA pundit Joe Brolly has apologised for a "Baywatch Babe" remark he tweeted last night.
The pundit was criticized for branding Sky's GAA coverage as "Sky = TV3 plus Baywatch Babe".
The outspoken Sunday Game panelist criticized the format of Sky's new GAA coverage, which will be hosted by Rachel Wyse.
Sky secured the rights to cover 14 live championship games this summer, providing competition for RTE.
Brolly tweeted an apology to Wyse for the "Baywatch babe" comment:
@RACHEL_WYSE Rachel, I apologise for the remark about a "Baywatch babe" . It was not meant to be personal but it was crass & wrong of me.

@RACHEL_WYSE It was no reflection on your abilities as a presenter or at least I didn't mean it to be. I apologise. It will not be repeated
