A man remains in garda custody following an armed stand off in Co Kerry.
The man (46) was arrested a house in Muckross in Killarney in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It was after gardaí from Kenmare were called to the house on Friday night.
When they arrived a man produced a firearm, made threats to gardaí and threatened another man nearby.
The Regional Response Unit from Limerick, along with a member of the District Detective Unit, and a crisis negotiator all attended the scene.
Gardaí recovered two firearms during a follow-up search.
The man is being held for questioning at Killarney garda station.
