Ireland soccer international Stephanie Roche has made it into the final three for FIFA's Puskas Award for the best goal of 2014.
Roche, who has since moved to a French club, scored the wonder goal for Peamount United against Wexford Youths.
That goal was among 10 shortlisted for the Puskas Award and after an online poll, Roche's goal made the final three, making her the first female player to make the final three-person list.

She is now up against Netherlands' Robin Van Persie for his World Cup header against Spain, and Colombia's James Rodriguez for his chest and volley against Uruguay at the same tournament.
Roche will find out if she has won the award on January 12th.
