A Limerick pharmacy is promising to supply medicines at prices lower than they are available for in Spain or Northern Ireland, and at 60 per cent cheaper than in traditional pharmacies.
The system operates through a subscription service and offering a large range of generic drugs.
The owner of Limitless Health, Daire Scanlon spoke with Newstalk Lunchtime today, and explained to Jonathan Healy that he could offer prescription medicines at such low rates because, “I deal directly with my generic suppliers so I can get better deals based on volume and scale.”
The pharmacy is currently in Limerick but offers nationwide delivery, and pans to open a further branch in Dublin later this year.
