Germans centre midfielder Christoph Kramer is out of tomorrow's Euro 2016 qualifier against Ireland through illness.
The 23-year-old was taken off on 71 minutes with a knock in Saturday's 2 - 0 defeat to Poland, but has been ruled out of the upcoming match in Gelsenkirchen after he picked up a stomach bug.
With the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sami Khedira out injured, central midfield options are thin on the ground for Germany, although Borussia Dortmund's Matthias Ginter has the versatility to play in midfield.
Germany manager Jogi Loew confirmed that attacking midfielder Karim Bellarabi will start after being in the starting lineup in Poland.
