Pop band One Direction have announced they will disband in March.
According to the Sun, the group agreed to take a year-long hiatus to work on solo projects following a meeting in London last weekend.
They will not tour following the release of their fifth album.
Their last concert will take place at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on October 31.
A source told the Sun that there is no animosity between the musicians, and that there are plans to reform:
“It is definitely not a split and they fully intend to get back together at some time in the future.
“But for now it is the end and they go out on top as the world’s most popular music act.”
