A four day festival showcasing the best of Irish talent kicks off today.
The 121m Dublin Spire, was illuminated in spectacular style last night, using the latest in light technology.
The festival officially got underway today, and Grand Marshal Brendan O'Carroll pushed the button to light the Spire green in collaboration with the UNESCO International Year of Light Ireland 2015.

It is the first time the iconic structure has been lit green.
The Spire will also stream a twitter feed displaying tweets with the dedicated #LightIRL.
Edel Moss is the Marketing and Development Director of the Festival.
She says there is lots happening over the next few days:
