Championship side Wigan have had an undisclosed bid for James Mc Clean accepted by Sunderland.
The 24-year-old could now become Wigan's 10th signing of the summer as new Wigan manager Owen Coyle is the first to make an acceptable offer for the player.
It has become abundantly clear that the Irish international is not in Black Cats manager Paulo Di Canio's long term plans.

McClean has also been linked with Blackburn and Celtic since the start of the summer.
