May is only a few days away but summer isn't here just yet as parts of Ulster and Connacht are expected to be hit by an unseasonable cold spell.
Met Eireann is warning that temperatures are expected to plummet to minus four degrees tonight with some frost expected.
Tomorrow will be also be a very cold day with wintry showers also expected to make an appearance in the west and northwest.
