From today, you can top-up your Leap card from your smartphone.

The Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe and the National Transport Authority (NTA) will launch the travel app later.

Leap Card users with Near Field Communications (NFC)-enabled Android phones will be able to access the app.

However, iOS users will not be able to use the Leap App until Apple Pay launches in Ireland.
