A pub receipt is doing the rounds on social media today as many people can't believe how much one customer was charged.
The Temple Bar in Dublin charged nearly €20 for two pints of beer and two packets of crisps last night.
And as many agree, the cost of a pint is the 'dipstick' that measures how Ireland is faring economically so people are naturally frightened.
But it's not all bad. The free music is still free.
There's no cover charge at all for the free music.
A mate of mine posted this on Facebook! I knew the prices were high, but seriously?! pic.twitter.com/J3qKuEKk92

People have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts with some calling the area a 'tourist trap'.
In more local news, do we really care how much a pub in Temple Bar is charging? Something something tourism blah just shut up already.

Why are people still shocked by prices in Temple Bar? Its been that expensive for years. Try the price of coffee in tourist Paris!

€7.45 for a pint of Heineken in The Temple Bar. I used to get 6 cans of Bavaria for €7.

@poloconghaile @LovinDublin We have to educate tourists that Temple Bar does not get its name from this pub, so not a must stop for a pint!

@KeithM it's the temple bar you went to in fairness. It's a tourist trap! Not for 'locals'

The Facebook review page for The Temple Bar is hilarious. Yanks giving five star reviews for 'pints of real Guinness' which they paid €8 for

@paddypower I've still got my receipt from Temple Bar from about 6 years ago. 1 pint of Guinness and a Bacardi and coke was over €20! #rip
