US network NBC is ending its business relationship with Donald Trump following 'derogatory' comments the magnate and presidential hopeful made about Mexican immigrants.
In a statement, NBC says "respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values. Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr Trump."
The network explains that the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants - part of a joint venture between NBC and Mr Trump - will no longer air on NBC.
The statement adds "in addition, as Mr Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in 'The Apprentice' on NBC."
Earlier this month, Mr Trump announced he will run for the US presidency, confirming earlier speculation.
Trump - who is a Republican - told Newstalk Breakfast during an interview that "we're going to have a wild time, because the United States should be doing much better than it's doing".
