Will Smith might be returning to the show that gave him his big break, but won't be in front of the camera this time.
Although it seems to be in the early stages so far, there are suggestions that Will Smith is involved in a reboot of the iconic 1990s sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
According to TV Line, his production company Overbook have already began planning for the reboot, and will bring a "new spin to the fish-out-of-water tale", while still maintaining the spirit of the original show.

Smith won't be in front of the camera this time however, as he will be on board as an executive producer along with a number of others from his company, including James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Robert Greenblatt, the chairman of NBC Entertainment (who broadcast the show's original run) said that there had been no formal contact as of yet, but they would be happy to talk to Smith about the possibility of rebooting the series.
