You may have seen and heard (far too much) of Psy, the Korean pop star whose song Gangnam Style became the first ever video to be watched more than a billion times on YouTube.

But the song has not only broken the record for most views, but broken the site itself. 

On Monday, YouTube announced that it would have to update the site to accommodate Psy's phenomenal view count, which currently stands at 2,152,196,965:

"We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer (=2,147,483,647 views), but that was before we met PSY. "Gangnam Style" has been viewed so many times we have to upgrade!"
