A deal has been reached between Clerys workers and the owners of the former department store in Dublin.
Clerys workers will receive a 'significant' good will payment as part of the agreement.
While the full terms of the deal are being kept confidential, SIPTU has withdrawn its objection to planning permission at the site.
The service of ex-Clerys workers will also be considered during the employment phase of the new development.

It is set to feature a 176-bedroom hotel, retail units and office space - some €150m will be invested in the project.
The building was bought by Natrium for €29m during the summer of 2015, before the sale some 460 staff were employed by the department store and its concession holders.
The deal was announced this morning by Lord Mayor Brendan Carr at Dublin's Mansion House.
