House prices around the country have increased by over 5% in the first three months of the year.
Dublin houses are still the most expensive at an average of €347,000 (well above the national average of nearly €240,000).
This got us wondering about what that kind of cash can buy in other counties. If you are willing to live outside of a big city and to give up all of the benefits which come with 'city living' - here are some of the more eye-grabbing homes on the market.
Dublin
First things first - this is the sort of property that money buys in the capital.
This one bedroom house is listed for €350,000 - it's located in Milltown, Dublin 6.
It is described as a, "quaint artisan cottage superbly located close to the Luas, with a stop only a few minutes' walk away."
It's set on the banks of the Dodder - and has a small outdoor area.
Wexford
It's fair to say you can get a bit more space for your currency in Co Wexford.
Kilcarbry House is listed for €350,000 - and looks pretty spectacular.
The restored period home is set on 2.5 acres - and features crisp minimal interiors.
The property is just outside of Enniscorthy and includes a courtyard and two cottages.
There are also ruins located on the site - and it features plenty of greenery.
Cork
Sticking with the period theme, this estate is also €350,000. It is situated less than 20 minutes from Cork City.
Not a bad view to wake up to (even in the rain).
Once you fix the slanty fountain you're laughing...
But you might want to update the interiors.
There are three bedrooms to work with (and a small orchard).
Cork 2.0
Alternatively further west in Skibbereen you can nab this coastal home - it's also €350,000.
This detached modern farmhouse has three bedrooms.
It offers a fresh blend of the old and the new.
There's plenty of space inside too...
Donegal
For the same price in the north-west, you can get this five bedroom home.
It has five bathrooms and two large living rooms.
And a spacious kitchen and dining room.
There is also a large detached garage and it's located next to a Blue Flag beach and Glenveagh National Park.
The view from the terrace doesn't look too shabby...
