The latest Investec Services PMI Ireland report shows that the sector continued to expand last month.
While it dipped from the 10-month high registered in April - it remained firmly in growth territory at 59.5 versus April’s 61.1.
The 'New Business' sub-index showed strong gains, the report cites, "strengthening economic conditions and marketing activities," as two factors which have helped businesses to attract new orders.

20 new jobs have been announced for Dublin by digital health company, Health Beacon.
The roles will include IT jobs, software developers, project management and customer service executives.
The announcement was made by Health Beacon's CEO Jim Joyce, and Taoiseach Enda Kenny last night, during his two day trip to Chicago.
The new jobs support the launch of Health Beacon's technology expansion into North America supporting its offices in Boston and Montreal.

Stobart Air, the franchise flying partner which operates Aer Lingus regional flights, has announced a €25m investment which will create 60 new jobs.
It is seeking 24 pilots and 36 cabin crew - this will bring its total workforce to 570 people, serving its 43 routes.
The airline operates a fleet of 17 aircraft with routes across Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Kerry and Donegal Airport.

Business continues to boom for Ryanair, its traffic grew by 11% to 11.8m customers last month.
Meanwhile, its load factor rose by 1% to 95% - meaning that 95 out of every 100 seats listed by the airline were sold.
Its rolling annual traffic to May grew by 13% to 122.5m customers.
