Globoforce - an Irish software company co-headquartered in Dublin and Boston - has announced that it is creating 100 new jobs in Dublin.

These positions range from graduate level upwards and will be in the fields of software development, software engineering, user experience, analysts, finance, customer service and customer success.

It hopes to fill 50 of the positions within this year and 50 more by 2020.

The company has unveiled its new 45,000 sq ft head office at Park West, Dublin 12. The firm specialises in "social recognition software combined with a modern values-based approach, helps build award-winning cultures where employees feel more appreciated and socially connected at work."

Globoforce currently employs 400 people globally with 210 in its Dublin office.

Co-founder and CEO, Dubliner Eric Mosley commented on the company's growth: "“These are very exciting times for Globoforce. When I co-founded the company in 1999 we started out with 5 employees in Dublin, we now employ more than 400 people in Dublin and Boston, and the company is growing year on year.

"I am proud that we are a successful Irish tech company competing on a global scale."

Julie Sinnamon, Chief Executive of Enterprise Ireland, said: "Enterprise Ireland welcomes today’s announcement of 100 new jobs and Globoforce’s move to its new Dublin headquarters. Globoforce is an inspiring example of an Irish-founded company that demonstrates global ambition when it comes to building a strong export business out of this country."
