60 jobs are to go in Ennis Co. Clare.

The Woodstock Hotel is set to close its doors.

It is the second time it has been shut down since 2008.

No official reason for the closure has been given.

However financial issues are believed to have played a role.

The 4-star hotel which contains 67 en-suite bedrooms and suites also houses a golf and spa resort.

It is situated close to Shannon Airport on 155 acres.

Its website is no longer accepting bookings.
