600 jobs will come on-stream in Waterford over the next three to five years as a €5 million investment is announced at the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT).
The Minister for Education Ruairi Quinn will officially open telecommunications company TSSG's "NetLabs" this afternoon.
This is a brand new research building at the college's West Campus.

The €5 million investment being announced today comes from the biggest EU research and innovation programme, 'Horizon 2020'.
Dr. Ruairi Nevin is President of WIT. He says developments like this mean more jobs for the south-east.
