Acer is well established in the world of computing. While their products may not be looked upon to be as premium as Apple, they're making a bold move in releasing a laptop with a $9,000 price tag.

The firm unveiled the Predator 21X at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. Acer says this is the first notebook computer with a curved screen. The device will be available to purchase from February.

You may well wonder what your $9,000 will get you, and rightly so.

The Predator 21X boasts a stunning 21-inch curved screen with 2560 x 1080 resolution. Internally there's an Intel Core processor and a Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics processing unit. There's 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory and up to four 512GB SSD. The laptop also has five system fans to ensure the unit does not overheat.

The Predator 21X also comes loaded with innovative eye-tracking technology that will allow gamers to identify enemies by simply looking at a spot on the screen. At present, Acer says 45 games can support this technology.
