The role of Cork in driving economic recovery is up for discussion at a major event this week.

The second 'Global Cork Economic Forum' has attracted speakers from the worlds of retail, telecoms, IT and the media to discuss a range of issues.

Delegates are hoping to devise actions to drive the recovery of wider south Munster region and to explore the role of the local diaspora in doing that too.

Denis Collins is the CEO of Smarter Dynamics and is one of the speakers at the event.
