Hundreds of people are attending the latest Allsop Space distressed property auction in Dublin today.

The banquet room in the Shelbourne Hotel where the event is taking place is full to capacity.

109 lots of residential and commercial properties as well as land from around the country are being auctioned today.

A Victorian garden square in south Dublin is also up for grabs.

Dartmouth Square is situated approximately 1.7 kilometres to the south of St Stephens Green and Dublin city centre. 

€140,000 guide

It is surrounded by 4 rows of houses of approximately 70 in total.

The auctioneers say the reserve on the item is not to exceed  €140,000.

The lots up for auction today are from many different parts of the country.
