Eishtec is to create another 250 jobs at its sites in Waterford and Wexford. The company was founded by three former employees of TalkTalk which pulled out of Waterford in 2011 with the loss of 575 jobs.
Recruitment is underway and the staff are expected to be in place by mid 2014.
The customer contact solution provider will create the new position by mid-2014. It comes after the company won another contract to provide smart phone technical support to T-Mobile customers in Britain.
The awarding of this contract will bring their headcount, currently at 700, to 950 people by the middle of next year.,
This project is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through Enterprise Ireland.
Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said "Eishtec is a remarkable example of what we are trying to achieve...This is an Irish company started in 2011, growing rapidly in export markets, and deriving its success from the ingenuity of its founders, the quality of the staff and the support of Government and the local community".
Eishtec co-Founder and director Colm Treacy told Beat FM that the jobs are the result of the new contract in the UK.
