The Jobs Minister has promised to improve the law to stop employers from sacking some workers and then rehiring them under weaker conditions.
Richard Bruton is promising to act if he is given any evidence that Irish law allows workers to be exploited.
He made the promise in the Dáil after hearing of a case where one worker was sacked by their employer, who then set up a second company to hire them back on lower pay.
