The former Fianna Fail fundraiser Des Richardson has appeared on the latest list of tax defaulters having made a settlement with Revenue for almost €109,000.

The business management consultant with an address at 25 Serpentine Avenue, Ballsbridge in Dublin was one of key strategists of Bertie Ahern.

The list covers the last 3 months of 2012 and gives details of settlements made by 135 taxpayers. They total almost €28 million.

7 settlements totaling €1.5 million relate to investigations into offshore funds. While 4 settlements worth almost €1.7 followed investigations into Single Premium Insurance products.
