Sláinte Healthcare has announced the creation of 80 new jobs for the health sector.
The roles will be in software engineering, testing, business analysis, client administration, finance and marketing. The new roles are in addition to 40 jobs already announced this year, and will be filled over the next 12 months.
Dublin-based company Sláinte is expanding as it develops its software programme Vitro - designed to help hospitals move from costly and inefficient paper patient charts to electronic charts.
Sláinte Healthcare currently employs over 90 people in Ireland, the Middle East, Australia and the UK.
The Jobs Minster Richard Bruton said "Today's announcement...is a great example of what is possible in this sector, and I wish them continued success".
Health Minister James Reilly also welcomed the announcement.
Sláinte is privately owned and part funded by Enterprise Ireland. Founded in 2006 by CEO Andrew Murphy, it is now one of the fastest growing, profitable healthcare tech companies in Ireland and the UK.
The announcement comes as the Ministers launched a second call for proposals for innovative healthcare solutions, launched by the pilot Health Innovation Hub.
Sláinte was one of the companies engaged in the first tranche of projects involved in this initiative.
