Retailer Heatons is creating 55 jobs with the opening of a new store in Dublin. The shop will open in November at Northside Shopping Centre.

Heatons says it has invested more than €1 million in developing the 14,500 square foot premises.

This newest store brings the company headcount to over 2,000 employees across 53 stores throughout the country.

A spokesperson for Heatons said "With the opening of a dedicated SportsWorld floor in our new North Dublin store, we will also offer consumers the best in big brands at low prices across a great range of sportswear. We look forward to welcoming 55 new staff and new customers from the North Dublin area to our store".

The new store will incorporate a new design format and will span over three floors. It will include womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, lingerie, nightwear and footwear.

While the SportsWorld floor will feature sportswear for men, women, and children, along with a range of sports equipment.
