Stephen McIntyre used the micro-blogging site to announce his departure from the company this morning.
After 4½ wonderful years, I’ve made the very hard decision to leave Twitter. I’m moving to the VC world to join @frontline.

He leaves his role as MD of Twitter in Ireland to join Frontline Ventures, a venture capital firm. McIntyre also announced his successor.

Founder of Storyful, Mark Little, will take up the new role from July 1st. Little joined the company in November 2015, following his departure from Storyful. He sold the social media news agency to Rupert Murdoch's NewsCorp in December 2013 for €18 million.
McIntyre described the incoming MD as “a Twitter evangelist through and through”.
Little, who is currently VP of media partnerships in Europe, expressed his thanks to his predecessor on Twitter this morning.
