After experiencing the ups and downs of the mobile market, Nokia has pledged to reinvent itself with a number of new hardware offerings.
A mystery black box was tweeted by the company today, and seems to be their first major new hardware venture.
So, what could it be?
It's hard to tell but it looks like a black Apple TV sparking speculation that it could be a set-top device that runs Android TV.
The cryptic tweet contains a link to the Slush 2014 website, a tech conference which takes place in Helsinki this week. Sebastian Nyström is Nokia's head of products and he will be taking to the stage tomorrow to discuss the company's future and it is expected that he will announce the new product.
Microsoft acquired Nokia's phone division last year and announced in October that it was dropping the Nokia name from its mobile devices.
The company has indicated that they have no desire to get back into the increasingly competitive mobile market.
Whatever the black box is, it should offer a clue as to what way the company is going.
