The property market could see a boost next year as two banks are to re-open their mortgage loan books.

The Irish Independent reports today that EBS and Permanent TSB are set to begin offering home loans to customers again.

Up to only a year ago AIB and Bank of Ireland were the only banks offering mortgages to applicants.
