WhatsApp has one billion active users, making it one of the most widely used applications in the world. Earlier this week it was revealed that messages sent on this platform are fully encrypted. This is the latest in a series of updates.
One feature which has been available for sometime is "WhatsApp Web". While it has been around for a while, many people still don't know about it.
Anyone with an active account can access WhatsApp web by visiting this site. Once on that site, open the WhatsApp Web part of the phone application and scan the QR code on the website with the phone
Once the QR code has been scanned, users will see their various chats and contacts on screen.
It's then possible to send and receive messages from the web-browser. Photos and audio files can be shared from the web too.
