Aer Lingus cabin crew have accepted the Labour Court recommendation aimed at resolving the row over rostering.
Yesterday the union IMPACT decided to call off industrial action at Aer Lingus following talks at the Labour Court.
The recommendation allows for the talks process to continue.
Aer Lingus says it will now set up a roster-issue technical group and it will implement the other aspects of the decision.
This means both sides in the dispute have now accepted the recommendations.
IMPACT assistant General-Secretary Michael Landers said the recommendation forms a good basis for the settlement of the issues in dispute.
Stakeholders spent more than 10 hours in talks at the Labour Court yesterday.
The planned strikes next week would have affected some 80,000 customers.
Meanwhile, Newstalk's Business Editor Ian Guider warned earlier that the threat of strike action will have had an impact on company profits.
