An international survey company is creating 150 jobs in Dublin. Qualtrics is setting up its new European headquarters in the capital and will create the jobs over the next three years.
The company offers online surveys for academics and corporate customers around the world.
Headquartered in Utah, Qualtrics is an enterprise survey provider providing technology that helps companies gain understanding of the customer and employee.
Enterprises, academic institutes, government agencies and DIY researchers use it for market research, academic research and employee performance feedback.
The company says this expansion is in direct response to the growing need for a single enterprise survey platform and the demand for advanced market research capabilities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Ireland is Qualtrics’ first international office and it is anticipates that it will employ 150 people within 18 to 36 months, and 50 jobs will be created in the next 12 months.
It is looking to recruit graduates from the science, business and mathematics for roles in sales, support and technical talent.
The firm experienced triple digit growth in 2012, and more than doubled its workforce to 350 employees in the past year.
Company founder Ryan Smith says tax was not the reason he decided to set up in Ireland.
