Citrix has announced the creation of 50 new jobs in Dublin by the end of the year. It will bring to 265 the number of people employed at the tech support company.
The positions include roles in sales, IT shared services and technical support.
A recruitment day will also be held on Saturday October 18th for technical support engineers.
The expansion is supported by the Department of Jobs through IDA Ireland. Citrix has also recently invested €540,000 in its East Point facilities in Dublin.
Making the announcement, Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said: "Today's announcement that Citrix, a global leader in technology, is expanding its operations in East Point and creating 50 new jobs is a further boost."
"I wish Citrix every success with their plans and look forward to working closely with them as they continue their growth in Dublin," he added.
While Citrix Ireland country manager, Grace O'Rourke-Veitch, added: "The pool of highly skilled workers in the country has given us the confidence to continue to expand over the next four years as we develop technology to enable companies to work better in a dynamic and mobile world."
A number of Citrix business units operate in Ireland - including sales, global IT operations, HR shared services and technical support teams - that provide support to consumers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
