Samsung Electronics has announced that its premium Family Hub™ Refrigerator is now available to buy in Ireland.
Available in two models, the Multi-Door and the Fridge Freezer, the refrigerator comes with a 21.5 inch full HD LCD screen, allowing owners to post, share and update calendars, as well as pin photos, share kids’ works of art, and leave notes for the family.
On top of that, Samsung is also tackling growing concerns surrounding food waste with the fridge's built in cameras.
The camera's take a photo of the fridge's contents every time the door closes. Householders can access these images via Samsung's Smart Home app on their smartphone and view their stock in real time.
Expiration dates can be tracked by entering the number of days their food has left. The number automatically counts down and can be checked via the Food Reminder app on the touchscreen, or via the Samsung Smart Home app.

The Samsung Family Hub™ refrigerator is available to purchase from Harvey Norman, DID Electrical, Power City and Currys for a RRP of €6,199.99 for the Multi Door Model. The Combi model is available to order in Ireland with a RRP of €4,199.
