Four of the most famous night spots in Dublin are on the market. Café en Seine, The George, The Dragon and Howl at the Moon are all part of what used to be the Capital Bars portfolio which is now up for sale.
Café en Seine on Dawson Street is considered the 'flagship' of the bunch and been valued at €3.5 million. The deadline for offers for each of the venues is set for July 4th.
The George, the largest gay nightclub in the city, is listed as part freehold/part leasehold and is held as "a specialist licensed premises".
Each of the four properties can be purchased in one or more lots.
According to John Ryan of CBRE the sale of the premises "offers a superb and very rare opportunity to acquire a portfolio of Dublin’s most iconic, well known and popular
licensed premises".
Each of the four properties have been extensively refurbished, expanded and fitted out over the years.
John Ryan added that the sale of the portfolio will appeal to a wide and varied pool of purchasers - both national and international.
They have a combined annual gross turnover in excess of €13.5 million.
