CPL Resources CEO wins top prize at Women Mean Business Awards 2014

The Chief Executive of CPL Resources, Anne Heraty, has taken the top prize at the Women Mean Business Awards in Dublin this afternoon.

Heraty was one of five winners on a day which saw over 250 of the country’s top businesswomen gather to hear about the latest advances in their respective areas, social responsibility and empowerment of women.

Debbie Deegan of the To Russia With Love charity was the winner of the Newstalk WMB Social Entrepreneur 2014 award; with Ramona Nicholas of Cara Pharmacy taking the Entrepreneur of the Year prize.

Now in their eighth year, the awards have gone from strength to strength and are now recognised as being among the most prestigious in Irish business.

”¨This year’s keynote address was delivered by Communicorp CEO Lucy Gaffney, who recounted tales from her own career and emphasised the importance of resilience and rising above criticism to the audience.
