There are now 134 COVID-19 patients being treated in Irish hospitals.
Today's figure is up from the 120 recorded on Saturday.
Current hospital numbers are the highest since June, and have been increasing steadily since August.
Intensive care figures have remained relatively stable in recent days - two new admissions over the past day bring the current number of confirmed cases in ICU to 22.
The hospital figures come amid the continuing rise in new cases being reported in Ireland.
Yesterday saw 613 new cases confirmed, representing the highest daily number since April.
Latest figures have shown the nationwide COVID-19 incidence rate per 100,000 population has risen to 107.98.
Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Louth, Monaghan and Roscommon all currently have incidence rates greater than 100 per 100,000.
Donegal remains the country with the highest incidence rate, at 257.6 per 100,000.
