A senior Garda has been suspended for allegedly breaching COVID-19 public health rules.
The officer attended a media briefing in Kildare last month with around 15 people, despite awaiting a result for a coronavirus test.
The Garda was later found to have tested positive for the virus after the event had ended.

An official Garda inquiry is ongoing into the matter and the senior Garda has now been suspended pending its outcome.
A spokesperson for the force said they would not commenting on their rank or gender in case it identifies the individual.
The spokesperson added that an internal disciplinary investigation into the matter is ongoing.
