Three men have been arrested after a car failed to stop at a coronavirus checkpoint in north Dublin.
At approximately 4:35pm on Sunday, the car failed to stop for Gardaí carrying out checkpoints in the Swords area.
The car was eventually stopped on the northbound lanes of the R132, north of Dundalk, a short time later following an operation by officers.
During the course of the operation an official Garda car was damaged, but nobody was injured.
The men in the car, all aged in their 30s, have been arrested.
They have been detained at Dundalk Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
