The stars of the film 'Contagion' have appeared in a series of short videos in the US, urging people to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Actors Matt Damon and Kate Winslet are among those who have teamed up with scientists from Columbia University in New York.
The aim of the campaign is to share evidence-based information about COVID-19.
The university's Mailman School of Public Health says: "As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, there is more need than ever for information about scientific, evidence-based precautions that we can all take to better protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities.
"The COVID-19 pandemic cannot be ended by any single person, organisation or country.
"We must all work together and do our part by taking necessary public health measures, including social distancing and proper hand-washing."
The 2011 film 'Contagion' saw the outbreak of a pandemic that spread across the world.
The medical community raced to find a cure, while ordinary people struggled to survive.
It also starred Marion Cotillard and Laurence Fishburne, who portrayed doctors at the World Health Organisation (WHO) and US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), respectively.
